About the Artist

Hello my name is Wyatt Perkins, and I'm a South Carolina based artist. I paint with acrylics to create colorful, abstract landscapes and beautiful flowers. I love to paint beach or lake scenes and flowers I see around my yard and community. I began sketching with charcoal over 10 years ago as a way to relieve my autism related stress and anxiety. I branched out and experimented with digital art, photography, and added acrylic painting 4 years ago. I’ve taken painting lessons from a variety of talented artists over the past 4 years and feel I have grown and learned to express myself as an artist. Painting relaxes me, reduces my stress, and brings me joy. It is satisfying to recreate a beautiful flower or landscape view that I’ve observed. It also helps to preserve memories of fun vacations, road trips, and other events. Learning to paint has changed my life!
